Area Sales Manager

Our international sales team is growing as we are looking for a Sales Manager! Currently our team is spread between Finland and the Netherlands – your location would be in our office in Rotterdam.
As Sales Manager (for the European region), you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the sales pipeline in collaboration with partners and other stakeholders. You will focus on identifying, developing relationships and executing strategies for key customers. A strong background and/or network in the oil & gas industry will be highly valuable in this role.
You will build customer engagement, manage complex sales processes and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Key responsibilities in this role:
- Own and grow a regional pipeline from prospecting through to deal closure
- Develop relationships with key clients, including national oil companies, midstream operators and EPCs
- Execute targeted sales campaigns and account-based strategies to enter new markets
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (3–6+ months) with technical and operational teams
- Contribute to pricing, proposal design, and partnership development alongside BD leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth delivery of services and high customer satisfaction
- Track and report KPIs using CRM tools, aligning with sales forecasts and revenue goals
How to be successful in this role:
- 5–10 years of experience in sales or technical sales position, preferably in oil & gas, emissions/LDAR services
- Proven experience in managing customer relationships and leading contract negotiations with multiple stakeholders
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive, results-driven approach to business development
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and navigate ambiguity with confidence
- Up to 20% travel within Europe is required
