R&D Engineer (Hardware)
Interested in electronics, building or tinkering? Have a background in engineering or physics? Join us in a hands-on role combining assembly and innovative product development!
Are you someone who enjoys both hands-on assembly and innovative product development? We’re looking for a technically minded and curious professional to join our team to help us assemble and service our measurement devices.
What you’ll be doing
Your work will include both device assembly and maintenance, as well as participation in product development. You’ll:
- Assemble, service and calibrate airborne emissions measurement devices.
- Take care of related documentation, including calibration records, component tracking and part procurement.
- Alternate between assembly and development work: focusing on assembly when tasks require precision and switching to development when creativity and concentration are in full flow.
- Contribute to mechanical design, electronics and embedded systems development.
In the future, we aim to have even stronger involvement in product development, and you’ll play a key role in that evolution.
What helps you succeed
We’re looking for someone with a solid technical foundation and a practical approach. You’ll do well if you have:
- Strong knowledge of electronics.
- An applicable educational background, such as electronics engineering, mechanical engineering or experimental physics.
- Experience with measurement devices or other relevant industry experience (a plus).
- A personal interest or hobby in electronics, building or tinkering (definite advantage).
- Experience in Linux and Python programming.
- Strong command of English.
What we offer
- A meaningful role in a fast-growing scale-up where your work directly impacts our product and mission
- A chance to work broadly across different technical areas and expand your expertise
- A supportive international team – 3 countries and 10+ different nationalities
- An organizational culture based on trust, respect, and openness – with a human touch, even in tough situations
